I don’t seem to have a lot of time to actually write these days, but I took myself out to another writer’s conference this weekend.
I spent two nights in Indianapolis and stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast.
There was only one room available, and it was a suite, which suited me just fine.
I was even able to soak in the beautiful, claw foot tub for about an hour.
On Saturday, I went to the Indiana Landmarks Center for another full day of writing workshops.
After attending a poetry session, a playwriting session, and a memoir session, there was an open mic reading.
I have exactly one photo of me during this trip. And it was taken by someone at one of the neatest little shops on “Mass. Avenue”.
We are on spring break right now, and I’ve been working on spring cleaning, and trying to get ready for some job interviews. Well, one interview got postponed, twice now. The power went out the first attempt last Thursday, and our area dumped 6 inches of snow that no one was expecting on Monday.
When I get the time, I’ll write more about the trip. and in particular, the writer’s conference itself.
For now, if you are interested, you can check out my two previous writer’s conferences here:
I hope to share more pictures and some stories to go along with them.
Have a beautiful day, my friends.
