White Egret hangout

The family and I were on a trip out to a wolf conservatory during our family vacation and just happened upon a small protected area of wetlands in our area.

We passed by it…and I quickly let out a squeal.  I wasn’t sure if we had time to stop because we were already late for our 1.5 hour trip.

I begged my husband to let me take some photographs, even there it was just a two lane road.  So he dropped me off and I took some wonderful pictures for a few minutes.

I was so amazed and in awe that there were SO many White Egrets around.  I only see one of the birds at a time around here.

I was totally in awe.  And in Love with Nature.

And could feel my heart just soar when these birds took flight.

I was so grateful to have taken the time to stop and capture these photos and I really love coming upon these hidden pockets of wonder in my own backyard.
