Finally, spring is here!
I’ve been in dire need of some walking outdoors at my favorite park.
I had a sweet time there with my middle daughter today. We were surprised to see that a Blue Heron came to visit. Sometimes we see a White Egret, but the last time the Blue Heron came to visit, it was too dark to get any good pictures.
Daughter noticed that the bird’s knees bent backwards.
I love them when they are in flight.
Their wingspan is enormous (about 3 to 4.5 feet).
I really need to learn how to use my camera, because I just guess at it right now.
He just came in for a landing.
I was very much touched to see this pigeon share its fish dinner with another pigeon.
Why, thank you.
Stained glass ‘trees’.
And I realized this art sculpture is now weathering to a green patina.
Daughter and I enjoyed our mommy and me time together. It’s been so nice to get out and forget some of the troubles I’ve had lately.
