There’s power in “no”

It’s a tiny little word that helps me keep my boundaries intact.

“No”

I don’t have to explain to anyone why I think what I think, why I write what I write, or do what I do.

I do not have to defend my Self.

I do not have to defend my choices.

I do not have to heal the way you think I should heal.

I don’t have to fix anyone else.

I don’t have to let anyone try to fix me.

And it’s amazingly liberating.
