To my companions in the blogging world, I apologize in advance for the delay in responding to your lovely comments. I’m touched with your thoughtfulness and there is a few things I need to attend to in my real life.
I will reply soon, but until then I wanted to share the walk I went on this morning.
I brought with me Julien Matei’s words:
This pond behind is my oldest daughter’s middle school. It was a beautifully crisp autumn morning. Chilly enough to invigorate without making me regret not bringing a hat.
It was about here that I took a spill. Because I was looking through my camera and walking, I stepped into a hole and twisted my ankle. The next moment I was on the damp ground with a searing pain in my ankle. A practical lesson of the hazards of not being mindful, for sure.
There were scores of Canadian geese, ducks and seagulls.
If you get to know me, you’ll know what affection I have for birds.
Beauty and grace in motion.
Without any special tricks, my DSLR lens created this delicious sunburst pattern.
When I go out in nature to capture moments in time, I come back just bursting with joy.
And this time, a stiff ankle.
And well worth it.
I’ll be back soon, my friends.
Have a beautiful day.
