While they sleep

My daughter’s middle school stands right next to a church and cemetery and after we left a choir award ceremony at her school, I was struck by the combination of tree, church and crosses set against the backdrop of the sunset.

It’s too bad the chain-link fence was in the way, but I still think it is a striking view.

I would like to take my daughter to visit the cemetery, as a former female teacher and namesake of her school is buried there.   The teacher was born in 1890 and has been known to haunt the middle school my daughter attends.
