Happy Easter

The other day at Starved Rock, the girls and I thought this ice formation looked like a cross.

It seems kind of interesting,  don’t you think?  Almost like a  sculpture.

I know my spiritual beliefs are kind of nebulous these days, yet I can’t help but wonder about the images I come across in Nature, what meaning, if any, I am supposed to glean from what I take in.

It was kind of surprising to see the ice still remaining on the day we went, because the weather was finally in the 50s.  Last year at the same time we went, there was no ice, and the grass and the trees were coming back to life.
