Snow fun!

We have a small incline in the back of our house which makes it good for sledding.  It’s a big hit with our girls and a few neighbor children.

Wipeout!

We had 4 sleds for 5 kids.  I got tired of the bickering and the screaming from my youngest about how unfair it was that her sister kept stealing her sled.

Necessity being the mother of invention, I decided to pull out a laundry basket for some experimentation.

It worked fairly well.

I was done taking pictures, but then my youngest told me I just had to come back out with the camera to take a photo of them holding on to each other.

It almost made me want to join in the fun…but I’ve got a head cold and I was happy for being out there only a short few moments capturing their play.

And yeah, our dog, a Sheltie, had a lot of exercise herding the kids along.

The girls are resting now, wiped out on the couch, watching Phineas and Ferb (something we recently discovered we all really like), drinking hot cocoa.  Excuse me for now, I just have to go join ’em.
